APPLICATION
Assembling wires with fibrous and PVC insulation are designed for connections of electric devices and equipment at AC nominal voltage up to 380V for cross-section areas 0,12-0,14mm² and at 1000V for cross-section areas 0,2-1,5mm² at frequency up to 10000Hz and DC voltage up to 500V and 1500V accordingly.

DESIGN
CONDUCTOR - copper wires tinned by 40% lead-tin solder and correspond to:
class 4 for cross-sections 0,12mm², 0,20mm ², 1,0 mm ², 1,5mm ²;
class 5 for cross-sections 0,35mm²; 0,5mm ²; 0,75mm ² in accordance with GOST 22483;
for a wire with cross-section 0,14mm² the design should be 8×0,15 mm.
INSULATION – cores are insulated in opposite directions by two layers of a fiber and by PVC-compound.
STRAND - insulated cores of two- and three-core wires are twisted. Parallel laying down of cores in two-cores wires is allowed.
SHIELD – common shield from copper wires (diameter not less than 0,13 mm) tinned by 40% lead-tin solder covers insulated cores in wires МГШВЭ and МГШВЭВ. Density of shielding braid should be not less than 60 %. Two-core screened wires with parallel conductors are marked by additional index «п».
SHEATH – PVC sheath is applied over the screen in wires МГШВЭВ.
TECHNICAL DATA
The basic electrical characteristics:
Wire МГШВ should pass test on alternative voltage 800V for wires with cross-section areas 0,12mm² and 0,14mm², and 2000V for wires with cross-section areas 0,20mm², 0,35mm ², 0,5 mm², 0,75mm², 1,0mm², 1,5mm² at 50Hz frequency. The wire should be placed in the water during 1 minute without preliminary water immersing. When testing МГШВЭ and МГШВЭВ the voltage is applied between conductors and between conductors and a screening braid without water immersing.
Wires can be used at an ambient temperature up to -40°С.
Wires should be assembled at temperature not below -10 °С.
Heating temperature of cores for a long time should not exceed 70 °С.
The minimum bending radius of a wire at operation should be not less than 10 diameters.
Service life of wires is 15 years.
