APPLICATION
Power cables with copper or aluminium conductors, with PVC insulation and sheath are designed for energy transmission and distribution at stationary installations, for fixed installation of power circuits on AC nominal voltage 660V or 1000V frequency 50 Hz.
DESIGN
CONDUTOR
For ВВГ, ВВГ-П, ВВГнг – round copper single- or multi-wire (cross-section from 16,0mm²), 1 and 2 classes in accordance with GOST 22483-77;
For ВВГ-1 – round copper multiwire, 2 or 3 classes in accordance with GOST 22483-77;
For АВВГ, АВВГ-П, АВВГнг – round aluminium single wire, 1 class in accordance with GOST 22483-77;
For АВВГ-1 – round aluminium, single-wire (cross-section up to 10mm²) 1 class, (over 10mm²) - 2 class in accordance with GOST 22483-77.
INSULATION - PVC-compound. Insulated cores have identification colouring. Insulation of neutral conductors is blue; insulation of drain wires is greenish-yellow.
STRAND - insulated cores (3, 4, 5) are twisted, in cables with an index «нг» even two conductors are twisted.
SHEATH - PVC-compound. In cables ВВГ-1 and АВВГ-1 insulated conductors are wrapped by PVC tape with overlap not less than 20 %. In cables with the index «нг» the sheath is made from a fire-resistant PVC-compound, with the index "нг-Ls" - from fire-resistant PVC-compound, with low gas and smoke emission.

TECHNICAL DATA
Permissible operational temperatures is from -50˚С to +50˚С.
Cables resist to air humidity up to 98 % at the temperature +35˚С.
Permissible operational preheating temperature of conductors is +70˚С.
Cables ВВГ, АВВГ, ВВГ-1, АВВГ-1 do not extend combustion at a single laying. Cables ВВГнг, АВВГнг do not extend combustion at a laying in bundles.
The minimum bending radius at laying is 7,5 outer diameters of cable.
The delivery length for cross-sections from 4,0 up to 16,0 mm² is 450 meters, for cross-sections from 25,0 up to 70,0mm² is 300 meters, for cross-section 95,0mm² is 200 meters, 20 meter and more cable pieces are possible to deliver but not more than 10% of total length of batch.
Service life of cables is 30 years.
