The plant "Avtoprovod" was founded in 1958. During this period, the main focus was the production of automotive wires. The enterprise was transformed to joint-stock company in 1994. Since October 2011 JSC "Shchuchin plant" Avtoprovod" is part of the holding "Automotive Components”, www.starter.by. At present JSC has all the necessary equipment to ensure the stability of mechanical and electrical characteristics of the cables and wires.

Over 60 years JSC “Shchuchin plant "Avtoprovod" occupies a leading position in the market of cable products. Now the plant manufactures more than 250 trade-marks of cable products with copper and aluminium conductors with PVC and PE insulation, and also a wide range of wire bundles. Products under obligatory certification are certificated on conformity to safety requirements and fire safety. At the enterprise there is a shop, where wiring harnesses for different vehicles are produced: “МАZ”, “BelAZ”, “Gomselmash”, “Lidselmash” etc.
