Belarusian Women
The Belarusian Women's Union was established on December 14, 1991 with the aim of promoting the protection of women's rights and legitimate interests, ensuring the dignity of women in society, and enhancing the role of women in social, economic, social and cultural life.Currently, the union has more than 183,000 women, operates more than four thousand primary organizations.The supreme body of the "Belarusian Women's Union" is a conference that meets at least once every 5 years. In the period between conferences, the permanent governing body is the BSG Board, the executive is the BSG Presidium.
