DESIGN

The design and the main sizes of wires have to correspond specified in table 1. Maximum deviations from the nominal external sizes ± 15%:

- strands and the core are stranded to the opposite sides. The braiding to fit the core tightly and not to move concerning it

- wires have the round form.

- core twist strand pitch no more than 30 estimated diameters of a strand.

- the twist pitch of the core will be: for internal lays no more than 20 estimated diameters of a lay; for outside lays no more than 16 estimated diameters of a wire.

- the step of weaving of a braiding will be no more than 35 mm.

- construction length of wires is at least 50 m.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Electric parameters:

The electric resistance of wires to a direct current counted for 1 km of length and temperature of 20 °C has to correspond specified in table 1.

Mechanical parameters:

- the explosive effort of wires corresponds specified in table 1.

- wires maintain not less than 100 excesses on a corner ± 90 ° when bending on a roller of 100 mm for wires with a section up to 8,0 mm ² inclusive, with a diameter of 200 mm for wires with a section over 8,0 mm ². 

The resistance to the external influencing factors:

- the wires are steady against the external influencing factors (ВВФ) given in table 2.

Safety:

- wires are safe for the consumer and the environment at operation in normal conditions.

Reliability:

- the minimum operating time of wires in the modes and conditions established by these specifications has to be 10000 h in normal climatic conditions or at the increased temperatures.

5000 h at a temperature up to 100 °C, or

1000 h at a temperature up to 125 °C, or

300 h at a temperature up to 150 °C, or

200 h at a temperature up to 200 °C, or

30 h at a temperature up to 230 °C

- service life of wires not less than 15 years;

- a warranty period of operation - 2 years.

Instructions on operation:

Current loadings have to be no more specified in table 5.
