DESIGNATION

 

Cables are designed for transmission of signals to control devices applied for operating mechanisms remote control and for inter-device connection with up to 600 V alternating voltage and 400 Hz frequency or 1000 V direct voltage.

УХЛ1 and ХЛ1 climatic modifications under GOST 15150 for other cables. Temperature range for УХЛ1: from -40°С to +70°С; for ХЛ1: from -50°С to +70°С

ARRANGEMENT

CONDUCTOR:tinned, copper, stranded.

Manufacturingofcopperwireconductorsisallowed. Thus the index «м» is put after conductor area index (example:КУПДЭВ 2*2*1,0м).

BRAIDING:for cables with нг(А)-FRLS index each conductor is braided with mica tape of 0.14 mm thickness with not less than 30% overlay.

CONDUCTORINSULATION:PVC compound; for нг(А)-LS andнг(А)-FRLS - flame-retardant PVC compound with low gas and fume emission. For ХЛ1 climatic modification - frost-resistant PVC compound.

STRAND:insulated conductors are stranded by pairs with not more than 80 mm lay. Insulated conductors differ in color of insulation from each other in each pair. Insulated conductors, shielded cable pairs with individual shielding or unshielded pairs shall be stranded into core by lay or bunched stranding. Each lay-up of the core shall have two meter pairs or conductors different in color from each other and from other conductors or pairs of the lay-up. Meter pairs shall be located near each other. Parallel pair lay is allowed.

WATER-BLOCKING TAPE:stranded conductors of shielded or unshielded pairs are covered with water-blocking tape with separator.

SHIELDING:stranded cable pairs with individual or composite shielding shall be shieldedbefore stranding. Shielding can be made in form of copper or tinned copper wire shielding braid with a diameter of not more than 0.20 mm for cables with up to 0.75 mm² area and not more than 0.26 mm for cables with over 0.75 mm² area and not less than 65% coverage; or in form of aluminoflex braiding and contact wire of tinned copper wire with a diameter of not less than 0.4 mm. It's allowed to lay polyethylene terephthalate film under shielding on the stranded pairs. Shielding type is designated as an index (Э - aluminoflex; Эм - copper wire braiding; Эл - tinned copper wire braiding).

CORE WRAPPING:core wrapping of PVC compound is laid over water-blocking tape (for cables with no foil shielding) or over foil shielding (for cables with foil shielding) of the cables with wire armor; for нг(А)- LS and нг(А)-FRLS modifications - of flame-retardant PVC compound with low gas and fume emission. For ХЛ1 climatic modification - PVC compound shall be frost-resistant.

ARMOR:galvanized steel wire armor of 0.3 mm diameter is laid over core wrapping of armored cables. Armor coverage is not less than 60%.

PROTECTIONHOSE:PVC compound protection hose is laid over water-blocking tape (for cables with no foil shielding) of unshielded cables or over wire armor of armored cables; for нг(А) - fire-resistant PVC compound;for нг(А)- LS and нг(А)-FRLS modifications - of flame-retardant PVC compound with low gas and fume emission.For ХЛ1 climatic modification - PVC compound shall be frost-resistant. Color of protection hose is negotiable. By default, the fire-resistant protection hose color is red or orange; protection hose color for other cables is black.

TECHNICALSPECIFICATIONS

 

Insulation electrical resistance for a length of 1 km at a temperature of +20°С shall be not less than 10M Ω; at a temperature of +70°С - not less than 0.1M Ω.

Operating capacitance of the pairs for a length of 1 km shall be not more than:

- for conductor area of 0.5 mm² - 120 nF;

- for conductor area of 0.75 mm² - 130 nF;

- for conductor area of 1.0 mm² - 150 nF;

- for conductor area of 1.5 mm² - 160 nF;

- for conductor area of 2.5 mm² - 165 nF.

Impedance ofthepairsfor a length of 1 km shall be:

- for conductor area of 0.5 mm² - 75 Ω;

- for conductor area of 0.75 mm² - 70Ω;

- for conductor area of 1.0 mm² - 65Ω;

- for conductor area of 1.5 mm² - 60 Ω;

- for conductor area of 2.5 mm² - 55 Ω.

Cables shall be resistant to bends.

Cableprotective hose shall be sealed.

Cables are resistant to high ambient temperature up to +70°С.

Cables are resistant to lowambient temperatures:

- forУХЛ1: -50°С (hardwiring);

- forХЛ1: -60°С (hardwiring);

- cabling bends condition: -15°С.

Cables are resistant to ambient temperature changes:

- forУХЛ1: from -40°С to +70°С;

- forХЛ1: from -60°С to +70°С;

Cables shall be resistant to continuous effect of relative atmospheric humidity up to 93% at ambient temperature up to +35°C.

Cables shall be resistant to longitudinal water propagation.

Cables shall not spread combustion when single laid.

Cablesof нг(А), нг(А)-LS, нг(А)-FRLS modificationsshall not spread combustion when laid as harness.

Fume emission during combustion and smoldering of нг(А)-LS andнг(А)-FRLS modifications shall not decrease the light flux in test chamber by more than 50%.

Cables of нг(А)-FRLS modification shall be fire-resistant for not less than 30 minutes' period of combustion.

Cables are designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -60°С to +70°С in hardwiring conditions and from -15°С to +70°С incabling bends conditions.

Fire resistant cables are designed for power cable lines and for control of equipment operating in case of fire.

Cables can be operated at relative atmospheric humidity up to 93% at ambient temperature up to +35°C.

Minimal operating cable bend radius shall not be less than twenty outer cable diameters.

Maximal operatingconductor heating temperature shall not exceed +70°С.

Permissible conductor heating temperature under overload conditions is not more than 90°С.

Operating periodunder overload conditions - not less than 8 hours per day and not more than 1000 hours overall.

Limiting non-combustion temperature of fire-resistant cable conductorsin case of short circuit - 400 ºС. The short-circuit period -  not more than 5 seconds.

Factory cable length - 100 m.

Operational life of cables - not less than 15 years.
