DESIGNATION

 

Flame-retardant polyvinylchloride insulated wires with low gas and fume emission are designed for electrical installations during lighting and power networks hardwiring and for mounting of electrical equipment, machines, units and mechanisms with rated alternating voltage up to 450 V (for up to 450/750 V networks) and up to 400 Hz frequency or direct voltage up to 1000 V.Wires are manufactured for general industrial applications and for nuclear power plants.

Wire models and their definitions shall correspond to the details given in the table below:

ARRANGEMENT

CONDUCTOR:copper, solid; copper, stranded.

INSULATION: Flame-retardant PVC compound with low gas and fume emission. Conductors are colored solid or painted with two diametrically located longitudinal strips on the insulation of natural color. For wires used only for grounding purposes, the insulation has green-and-yellow color.

TECHNICALSPECIFICATIONS

Wires are resistant to the effect of ambient temperature from -50°С to +65°С.

ПВ1нг(А)-LS иПВ2нг(А)-LS wires shall be resistant to shocks at a temperature of -15°С.

Wire insulation passes thermal-shock test.

Wires shall be resistant to the continuous effect of relative atmospheric humidity up to 98% at ambient temperature up to +35°C.

Wiring shall be performed at permissible temperature not lower than -10°С. 

Minimal operating wire bend radius shall not be less than ten wire diameters for ПВ1нг(А)-LSmodels and five diameters for other models.

Wires shall not spread combustion when laid as harness under A category.

Fume emission during combustion and smoldering shall not decrease the light flux in test chamber by more than 40%.

Maximal permissible continuous conductor heating temperature shall not exceed +70°С

Factory wire length - not less than 100 m.

Operational life of wires - not less than 10 years.
