Industrial blasting wires

DESIGNATION

Wires with copper conductors in polyethylene insulation are designed for industrial blasting operations. Wires with conductor diameter of 0.5 mm are applied as electrical ignitor outputs with diameters of 0.7 and 0.8 mm - for main lines.

Wires are designed forshort-term usage at 380 V voltage and for instantaneous usage at 380 V alternating voltage or 1500 V direct voltage.

Wire usage at instantaneous direct voltage up to 3000 V is allowed.

Wire models and their definitions shall correspond to the details given in the table below:

ARRANGEMENT

 

CONDUCTOR:coppersolid.

INSULATION: polyethyleneofvariouscolors. Two-conductor wire insulation shall be different. Insulation shall be frost-resistant. ВП-Т wires shall be resistant to mold.

STRAND:conductors are stranded with a strandpitch of not more than20diameters over stranded core. Manufacturing of two-conductor non-stranded wire is negotiable.

TECHNICALSPECIFICATIONS

Direct-current electrical resistance of conductors for a temperature of +20°С and a length of 1 km shall be:

- not more than 93 Ω for wires with conductor diameter of 0.5 mm;

- not more than 50 Ω for wires with conductor diameter of 0.7 mm.

- not more than 36 Ω for wires with conductor diameter of 0.8 mm;

Factorylengthshallbe:

- not more than 1500 m for wires with conductor diameter of 0.5 mm;

- not more than 500 m for wires with conductor diameter of 0.7 and 0.8 mm.
