DESIGNATION

 

Fire-resistant, flame-retardant power cables with halogen-free polymer compound insulation and sheath are designed for power transmission and distribution in fixed installations with rated alternating voltage of 0.66 or 1 kV and up to 100 Hz frequency.

Cables are manufactured for general industrial applications and for nuclear power plants (NPP) out of containment areas in AC systems of class 2 according to the classificationof General Safety Regulations 88/97 (Rules and Norms for Nuclear Power Generation Industry Г-01-011).

Cable models and their definitions shall correspond to the details given in the table below:

ARRANGEMENT

CONDUCTOR:copper, solid.

BRAIDING: two mica tapes. It's allowed to lay polyethylene terephthalate film braiding over mica tapes.

INSULATION: halogen-free polymer compound.

STRAND:insulated conductors of multi-core cables arestranded into core.

FILLING:for near-round shaping of power cable the inner and outer spaces betweenthe insulatedconductors shall be filled (with kordel of halogen-free polymer compound).

INNERSHEATH:  halogen-free polymer compound.

OUTERSHEATH:  halogen-free polymer compound.

NUMBER OF CONDUCTORS:1,2,3,4,5.

CONDUCTORAREA, mm²:1.5; 2.5; 4; 6.

TECHNICALSPECIFICATIONS

Insulation electrical resistance for a length of 1 km at a temperature of +20°С for halogen-free polymer compoundinsulation shall be the following:

Cables shall be resistant to winding.

Cables are designed for operation at ambient temperature from -50°С to -+50°С.

Cables are operable at relative atmospheric humidity up to 98% at ambient temperature up to +35°C.

Cables o shall be resistant to the effect of mold.

Cables shall not spread combustion when laid in groups under A category.

Fume emission during cable combustion and smoldering shall not decrease the light flux in test chamber by more than 40%.

Cables shall be fire-resistant for not less than 180 minutes' period of combustion.

Operational cable life - not less than 30 years.
